Apple tacos with marzipan

A festive, simple and more playful version of apple pie that everyone will love. The marzipan creates a rich filling that makes the dish even more hearty. Can also be left out in case of allergy. Scoop the ice cream into a chilled food thermos to make it easier to take with you.

Ingredients:

4 small tortilla breads

2 apples

100 g butter

2 tbsp granulated sugar

4 tsp cinnamon

100 g marzipan

A pinch Salt

2 dl vanilla ice cream or custard

Instructions:

01 Melt the butter in a pan.
02 Fold and heat the tortillas in the butter until they become as hard as taco shells.
03 Mix the cinnamon and sugar on a plate and turn the tortillas in the mixture, let cool.
04 Dice the apple and add to the remaining butter together with the sugar, cinnamon and salt, fry in the butter until the apple has softened.
05 Add the marzipan to the pan and cook for a few more minutes.
06 Scoop the apple filling into the taco shell.
07 Serve with vanilla ice cream.

Living it large?

Drizzle salted caramel sauce over the taco before serving for an extra festive dessert.
