Bean pasta with pumpkin seeds and chicken

Eating pasta and beans while hiking is both energy-rich and filling, and is easily packable for longer trips. The chicken broth adds additional flavor to the dish, making it a great choice for backcountry meals.

Ingredients:

6 dl penne pasta
2 chicken stock
2 tsp salt
2 tsp parsley and garlic garnish
2 tsp dried parsley
2 pack mixed beans
8 dl water
4 tbsp pumpkin seeds

Instructions:

COOK OUTSIDE
01 Boil water.
02 Open the can of beans and drain some of the liquid. Add the contents to the water.
03 Add pasta, spices, broth, and pumpkin seeds.
04 Cook until the pasta becomes soft. Set aside for 5 minutes. This allows the pasta to absorb the sauce and become creamy.
