Candied almonds

Ingredients:
400 g almonds
300 ml granulated sugar
1000 ml water

Toast the almonds in a hot pan, set aside.

Add water and sugar into the pan and bring to the boil. Add almonds and cook until they start to crackle. Stir constantly, until the liquid is gone.

Remove the pan from the heat and leave to cool.
