HASH BROWNS

The world’s simplest and cheapest luxurious dish. The sizzling from frying a hash brown is soothing and will enhance any outdoor experience, bring joy and peace of mind. It doesn’t really matter what you put on top, but here’s two classics.

PRIMUS | CAMPING

Ingredients:

THE POTATOES
4 Grated & squeezed potatoes
2 knob Butter for frying
Salt & pepper
TOPPING 1
Lingonberries
Fried mushrooms
Gremolata
Fried pork
TOPPING 2
Seaweed caviar
Créme fraiche
Diced red onion
Finely chopped chives

Instructions:

PREPARE AT HOME
01 Grate the potatoes and squeeze them to remove any excess liquid. This will also prevent the potato from oxidizing.
02 Put into an airtight container.
03 Prepare your toppings of choice.
COOK OUTSIDE
01 Fry the hash browns over medium heat with loads of butter in a nonstick pan.
02 Flip it when the color is golden brown (around 5-8 minutes) and fry the other side until the edges turn crispy.
03 Enjoy together with your topping of choice!
