Saffron French toast

A simple Christmas favourite that tastes so good!

Ingredients:

4 Slice Bread
1 g Saffron
400 ml Soy milk
200 ml Wheat flour
2 tbsp Vanilla sugar
4 tbsp Maple syrup
4 Gingerbread cookies
Oil or butter, for frying
Topping
2 tbsp Icing sugar
Lingonberries

Instructions:

COOK OUTSIDE
01 Stir together the flour, saffron, milk and vanilla sugar.
02 Slice the bread.
03 Dip each side of the bread in the milk.
04 Fry in oil/butter on each side until golden brown.
05 Drizzle the maple syrup, crumble the gingerbread over and top with lingonberries and icing sugar.
