
SCONES WITH BROWN CHEESE

An English breakfast classic meets a Norwegian delicacy.

Ingredients:
250 ml Wheat flour
150 ml Oat flakes
2 tsp Baking powder
2 tsp Brown sugar
2 tbsp Milk powder
50 g Butter
150 ml Water
1 Brown cheese
Ziploc bag
Instructions:
COOKING OUTSIDE

Mix the wheat flour, oatmeal, baking powder, brown sugar, powdered milk and butter in a bowl.

Then put the dough in a Ziploc bag. Knead the butter in the bag.

Add a little bit of water at a time until you get a dough that you can shape with your hands without getting them sticky.

Shape the dough into 5 to 6 equally sized pieces and flatten them out.

Fry in a dry pan on low heat with the lid on for about 5 to 6 minutes on each side.

Layer a couple slices of brown cheese on the freshly baked bread and enjoy straight away.
