
Basic Bread
Ask any chef about their favorite food memory. The answer is always freshly baked bread with enormous heaps of soft butter. Since everything tastes better outside, this is probably the best dish in the world! Avoid sticky adventurer hands by making the dough at home.
PRIMUS | CAMPING
Ingredients:
900 ml wheat flower
400 ml lukewarm water
1 tbsp sugar
1 tbsp salt
25 g fresh yeast
1 tbsp soft butter
Instructions:
                          PREPARE AT HOME

                              Dissolve the sugar and yeast in the lukewarm water.

                              Add the flour, salt and stir until you have an even mixture.

                              Knead the dough for five minutes or until it feels ready.

                              Cover with a kitchen towel and let it prove until the dough has doubled in size.

                              Knead the butter into the dough and let it sit inside the fridge overnight.

                              Put in a zip-lock bag and put it in your backpack.

                              Divide the dough in eight individual pieces and shape them into round buns.

                              Let them rest for 20-30 minutes.

                              Flatten the buns like thick pancakes and fry with butter in a pan until golden brown on both sides.

                              Serve warm with generous amounts of butter.
