A classic toastie taken off the grid! With melty cheese, savory tuna, and golden bread toasted to perfection, this trail-friendly meal brings comfort and energy to any outdoor break.

Ingredients:

2 slices bread
95 g tuna
Half a red onion
Dill
3 tbsp jalapeño cream cheese
3 tbsp crème fraîche
2 slices of cheddar cheese
Chili flakes
Oil for frying
Topping:
Dried chives
Sriracha mayonnaise
Parmesan for topping

Instructions:

01 Finely chop the red onion.
02 Mix with crème fraîche, tuna, and jalapeño cream cheese. Season with chili flakes and dill.
03 Top the bread with cheddar and the tuna mixture.
04 Close the sandwich and fry in oil.
05 Finish with parmesan, sriracha mayo, and dried chives.
